Rehersal Program

The Humphrey Group's Rehearsal Program provides one-on-one speech coaching for executives who wish to achieve a strong, confident and persuasive style in speeches, presentations, and off-the-cuff remarks. The goal is to ensure that they get their messages across as inspiring and motivational leaders.

The program begins with a consultation, and consists of one or more private sessions. These can be scheduled when the executive wishes to work on improving skills, or they can be used as rehearsals for actual events. The customized coaching will help the client achieve the following goals:

Take "control" of the room
Speak with a strong, clear message
Use a microphone or sound equipment well
Deliver without "podium paralysis"
Stand in a relaxed yet confident manner
Read from a script in a natural, conversational way
Use visuals without having them dominate
Speak with strong eye contact and pace
Find power in gestures and physical presence
Achieve a natural but heightened expression
Speak off-the-cuff without rambling
"Work" a room in impromptu situations
Handle Q&As with well-targeted replies
Look the part in style and dress.

The focus can be entirely on delivering a formal speech, or a presentation, or on off-the-cuff speaking. A full program can cover all of these. The initial consultation will determine the scope of the program. The cost will depend on the number of sessions and the instructor.
